FTTx Solutions - Colegio Claret, Catholic schools in Colombia

Colegio Claret, one of the most famous Catholic schools in Colombia, possesses a vast campus area. The traditional LAN network cannot provide full coverage over a large distance. Therefore, the school planned to upgrade its LAN network with a new and reliable access network solution at an affordance price. Also, they were looking for easy-to-manage facilities to provide smooth network access, added security, and simple installation. They worked with Preyco SAS and Zyxel for its pilot-run project. Powered by the Zyxel’s state-of-the-art fiber-optic technology, the school now has enhanced wired and wireless capabilities, and plans to extend the internet access to the other sites in the campus.
