At the MWC, Zyxel will be exhibiting in hall 5, booth 5G10 at the Fira Gran Via, in Barcelona, Spain.

Zyxel is a global leader in broadband networking technology, who for more than 25 years has been delivering numerous world´s first products. The portfolio covers a wide range of wired and wireless network solutions for customers ranging from telecommunications service providers to small- and medium-sized businesses and home users.

At the MWC 2014, Zyxel will present a wide range of innovative solutions including:

  • Mobile WAN solutions on LTE for better quality mobile broadband
  • Fixed-mobile convergence on small cell and wireless LAN for seamless mobile user experience
  • Multiple WAN solutions for flexible business resilience

With growing demand for mobile data bandwidth, Zyxel’s small cell and wireless LAN technologies provide operators ideal solutions for offloading mobile data, and increasing coverage and user density. Zyxel’s latest UMTS small cell CPE with Wi-Fi (FMT3251) and LTE small cell CPE (LMT3313) not only leverage existing home broadband services such as DSL or cable networks to reduce the backhaul cost, but also increase user flexibility when installing devices to serve the entire home.

Using fixed broadband assets for mobile backhaul is another feature of Zyxel’s 4G LTE/small cell solution. Zyxel provides operators solutions to use VDSL2 for mobile backhaul while increasing bandwidth capacity to meet growing demand. In the near future, PON fiber and P2P optical Ethernet solutions will be also included in the 4G LTE/small cell mobile backhaul solution.

Another highlight at the MWC will be Zyxel’s LTE solutions which cover a complete range of access products ranging from 3G to 4G LTE technology including indoor and outdoor mobile devices. Zyxel will also introduce the latest Zyxel LTE Remote Protocol, which can be enabled in Zyxel indoor xDSL CPE or various gateway products to remotely manage LTE ODUs installed in outdoor spaces and not easily accessible.

Zyxel´s latest dual-SIM LTE portable router (WAH7204) will be shown at the MWC as well. WAH7204 offers changeable battery alternatives for small battery and powerbank. It perfectly covers the requirements for people travelling on business or leisure who need to establish high-speed 4G LTE service with 3G failover for faster transmission and increased coverage.
