Hsinchu Taiwan, January 10, 2018 – Zyxel Communications will showcase its extensive portfolio of next-generation broadband access, WiFi and home networking solutions for service providers at the International Consumer Electronics Show (CES), January 9-12, 2018. The company will highlight new solutions based upon XGS-PON, NG-PON2, G.Fast Amendment 3, and 802.11ax technologies.
Zyxel’s Giga-Next solutions provide speeds that exceed Gigabit broadband for fiber and copper access, keeping service providers ahead of the broadband performance requirements demanded by high-bandwidth applications such as 4K video streaming, online and virtual reality (VR) gaming, and augmented reality (AR) applications. Technologies such as XGS-PON and the G.Fast platform give service providers a wide range of choices and flexibility to deliver advanced services into the future while leveraging their existing infrastructure investments.
Zyxel will also showcase a portfolio of in-home networking solutions designed to provide the enhanced performance required to support the increasing demands of the IoT home environment. The solutions, which include 802.11ax WiFi and 1.4 Gbps MoCA 2.0 Bonding Gateways and WiFi extenders, further expand the company’s Multy Pro Managed WiFi System.

In addition to introducing solution providers to its comprehensive portfolio of Giga-Next broadband solutions for fiber and copper networks, Zyxel will also give them the opportunity to see the new Multy Pro and MoCA 2.0 Bonding solutions.
Zyxel’s Multy Pro Solution is a high-performance managed WiFi system for service providers. Comprised of an advanced integrated system of hardware, software and a mobile self-help app, the Mesh-powered system enables service providers to offer subscribers a remotely managed WiFi solution. The Multy Pro system automatically creates seamless WiFi coverage for whole-home enjoyment of bandwidth-intensive applications, simple app-based management which reduces technical support calls, and remote management to improve customer service and reduce truck rolls. The Multy Pro solution is available on several currently deployed gateways and is offered free of cost to Zyxel customers.
The Zyxel MoCA 2.0 Bonding Solution enables solution providers to deliver secure, gigabit wired and wireless connectivity everywhere within subscribers’ homes utilizing their existing coax cable infrastructure. The new product line, which includes a Gigabit Ethernet wireless gateway, WiFi extender and Ethernet adapter, work together to deliver the wall-to-wall gigabit connectivity required to support premium services and applications.
